Windows VST Scan Issue

We're aware that some Windows users experience a hang during VST plugin scanning on startup. Version 0.3.2 includes diagnostic logging to help us track this down.

How to help

  1. Download MAGDA 0.3.2 from the home page
  2. Launch it and let it run, even if it appears to hang
  3. After closing (or force-closing), find these files:
    • %APPDATA%\MAGDA\Logs\magda.log — startup log
    • %APPDATA%\MAGDA\last_scan_report.txt — scan report (if scan completed)
  4. Upload them using the form below

Tip: press Win+R, type %APPDATA%\MAGDA and hit Enter to open the folder.
